Getting started.
Where is Sekondo after I install it?
It is a panel inside each Adobe app:
- Photoshop and InDesign: Plugins → Sekondo → Sekondo.
- Illustrator and After Effects: Window → Extensions → Sekondo.
- Premiere Pro: Window → UXP Plugins → Sekondo.
- Lightroom Classic: File → Plug-in Manager → Sekondo, and the first time, “Connect”.
Do I have to type any commands?
No. The installer puts the panel in its app and adds Sekondo to your assistant: there are no commands to type.
My computer warns me when I open the installer. Is that normal?
Yes. On a Mac, click “Open”. On Windows, click “More info” and then “Run anyway”.
Where do I enter my key?
The installer asks for it. After that, the panel connects on its own with your key, without pasting it again: the light turns green.
The email with my key has not arrived.
Check your Spam or Promotions folder. If it is not there, write to us at soporte@sekondo.app and we will send it to you.
The installer cannot find my Adobe apps.
The installer looks for them where Creative Cloud installs them: in the Applications folder on a Mac or in Program Files on Windows. If yours are on another drive, install them from Creative Cloud in their usual folder and open the installer again.
How do I tell it which document to work on?
By its name. It is the habit that saves the most grief: with several documents open, it works on the one in front. Say “In Catalogue.indd…” and there is no doubt.
What you need.
Which Adobe versions do I need?
Version 2024 or later of the Adobe apps; for Premiere Pro, 25.6 or later. If you have an earlier version, update it from Creative Cloud and you can start using Sekondo.
What computer do I need?
macOS 11 or later, or Windows 10 or later.
Does it work with Lightroom?
Sekondo works with Lightroom Classic, the desktop version.
Do I still need to pay for the AI?
Yes. Sekondo connects your AI assistant to your Adobe apps but does not resell the AI. You keep your own subscription with Claude or ChatGPT. If you do not have it yet, download it right here: Download Claude Download ChatGPT
Does it work with ChatGPT or only with Claude?
Both. We have tested it with Claude Code and with ChatGPT through Codex, the assistant inside its desktop app - not ChatGPT in the browser - each on a different application and at the same time, sharing one bridge. Sekondo is a standard MCP server, so any compatible client should be able to talk to it; the two we promise are the two we have tested.
Which of the two works better?
Whichever you prefer: Sekondo works the same with both.
Does it work with other assistants?
Today, with Claude and with ChatGPT.
Trial, payment and invoices.
When do I start paying?
When the 7-day trial ends. You choose your plan and a card is required, but nothing is charged today, and you get an email with your key, the package and the steps. If it is not for you and you cancel before then, you pay nothing. After the first payment you have 15 days to ask for a refund, no questions asked.
How do the trial and the refund work?
Try it free for 7 days on your own projects. If it is not for you and you cancel before they end, you pay nothing. And if you change your mind after the first payment, you have 15 days to ask for a refund, no questions asked.
How does the annual discount work?
You pay for ten months and get twelve. As simple as that.
I have a discount code or a free-month code. Where do I enter it?
Choose your plan on Pricing and, in the checkout window, enter the code before you confirm your subscription. A free-month code takes the first month of the plan you choose to €0; after that it continues at that plan’s price.
Do you issue proper invoices?
Every payment produces a VAT invoice with your company details. For EU businesses with a valid VAT number, VAT is reverse-charged.
What if I cancel mid-period?
You keep working until the end of the period you have paid for, and you are not charged again. Your documents are unaffected either way. You can do it from My account, the same place as your invoices, or by replying to any of our emails.
Is there an education rate?
Students and teachers get 50% off. Ask for your code with your university or school email.
Plans and licences.
Can I swap one app for another?
On the 1-app and 3-app plans, the apps you choose are fixed in the subscription; to use others, you move up a plan.
How do I add apps?
You can move to a plan with more apps whenever you like from My account: the change is immediate, and that day you are only charged the prorated part of the current period.
Is there a 2-app or a 4-app plan?
The plans are for 1 app, 3 apps and all six (Pack of 6). If you use two, the 3-app plan; if you use four, the Pack of 6, which also includes new apps as they ship.
Can I install it on two computers?
Yes: each licence covers up to 2 computers, with the same key.
There are several of us in the studio.
The Studio plan is for 5 licences or more, at €39 per licence per month, with one invoice, licences you can reassign and a named contact.
Your files.
Do my files get uploaded anywhere?
Not to us: Sekondo never stores your files on any server. The bridge runs on your computer and talks to your Adobe app locally.
Let’s be straight about the rest, though: to work on a document your assistant has to read it, so whatever it needs - text, measurements, sometimes a screenshot of a page - travels to the assistant you chose, under the agreement you already have with them. Never the file itself. The difference from Adobe's assistant is that there is no extra middleman, and that you pick the provider.
Where does it save my files?
Wherever you tell it. Sekondo works in the folder of the document you have open and exports where you ask, with the names your studio already uses. If you do not say, it asks before writing anything.
What happens to my work if I cancel?
Nothing. Everything Sekondo makes is a normal Adobe document on your disk - layers, text and all. There is no proprietary format and no lock-in.
What it does and how you work with it.
Do I have to teach it?
Once for each thing, yes. It does not arrive knowing your judgement. It reads what it can from your own files - the palette, the styles, the grid - and applies what you tell it in the conversation. What it cannot decide, it does not invent.
Does it replace the designer?
No. It takes the part of the job nobody wants to do. Sekondo is exactly as good as the person giving the orders.
Do I have to sit and watch?
No. Before it starts it checks everything the job needs and, if something is missing, it tells you right then, before touching anything. If it all checks out it starts and finishes: no dialogs to dismiss, no questions halfway through. Brief it and walk away.
How long does it take?
A sekondo. Or nearly: what takes time is your assistant reading and writing. The twelve-page dossier in the video was repaired in minutes, not in an afternoon.
Can I have one assistant in Premiere and another in a different app at the same time?
Yes. You can connect an assistant in each of the six apps and mix Claude and ChatGPT. Two in the same app, no: they would get in each other’s way.
Why is one Cmd+Z not enough in Illustrator?
Because Illustrator does not let the history be grouped: there one Sekondo command can be several undo steps. In the other five apps, one command is a single Cmd+Z. Save before a big job and ask for it in pieces.
InDesign looks frozen while it works. Is that normal?
Yes. InDesign does not repaint the screen while a script runs. Look at the panel: if the light is blue, it is working. That is why big jobs are best asked for in pieces.
Are there tutorials or a course?
There are the demos for each app, the docs and, if you want to learn it with your own files, training by video call with the Sekondo team.

Do I need to know about artificial intelligence?
No. Bring your work and what you want to achieve; we cover the rest in the session.
What do I need for the session?
Your computer with your Adobe app and an internet connection. If you don’t have Sekondo installed yet, we install it at the start.
Is it given by a real person?
Yes. A person from the team that built Sekondo, live and by video call.
What language is the training in?
In Spanish.
What if one hour is not enough?
For a complete workflow there is the 3-hour pack. And if more is needed, you book more hours.
