AI for Premiere Pro that leaves your edit finished.
Sekondo connects Claude or ChatGPT to Premiere Pro. You hand it the footage and your instructions, and your assistant leaves the complete edit in your project, with its tracks and its bins.
What Sekondo does in Premiere Pro.
It learns from you, and this is just a sample. If Premiere Pro can do it, Sekondo does it.
- Takes the raw footage as it comes off the camera and sets aside the repeated or failed takes.
- Imports the good ones into Premiere Pro, sorted into bins. If you ask, it also renames them by scene; on its own it does not rename or delete any file.
- Builds the sequence in the order you give it and trims each long take to the seconds that matter.
- Reframes the static shots with scale and position to give them movement.
- Pulls a chroma key over a green background to bring in another image.
- Adds the animated titles in your brand’s typeface and colours, and opens with the logo.
- Lays the music from start to finish.
- If you need the same video in another language, it rebuilds it with the same clips and the titles translated.
- Places the titles from your graphics templates with their text, typeface, colour and duration.
- Adds the brand’s logo bug and fades the music in, with keyframes accurate to the frame.
- Reframes for vertical or other social formats, keeping the subject centred.
- Saves it as a template so the next videos come out the same.
- Organises the project: bins, names and metadata.
- Builds a first cut from the transcript, or following a script.
- Adds B-roll where it is needed.
- Removes silences and filler words.
- Adds word-by-word subtitles as Premiere titles, in your typeface and colours, and exports them as SRT.
- Cuts a multicam podcast, switching shots according to who is speaking.
- Adds zooms to the rhythm of what is being said.
- Pulls the best moments of a long video into vertical clips.
- Generates YouTube chapters with their timestamps.
- Mutes or bleeps out profanity.
- Creates, renames and colour-codes markers on clips and sequences.
- Duplicates sequences to prepare versions, each with its name.
- Exports several sequences at once, with their names, destinations and settings.
- Checks the spelling of the text and the names.
- Summarises the content of a video.
- Cleans up the voice audio.
How to brief it.
Like someone who just walked into the studio: it knows Premiere Pro and knows nothing about your client. You tell it which project, what you want and the judgement to apply. Before touching anything it reads the whole thing, and when it is done it tells you what has changed. Each command is a single step in the history: if you do not like it, Cmd+Z and it is back as it was.
It works on your computer, with your Claude or your ChatGPT. The file never leaves your machine.
Frequently asked questions about Sekondo in Premiere Pro.
Does it delete the takes it does not use?
No. It sets them aside in their own folder, without deleting anything. If you change your mind, they are still there.
Does it leave me an exported video or the project?
The project, edited in Premiere, with its tracks and its bins. You review it, touch it up by hand wherever you like and export it yourself.
Can I have one assistant in Premiere and another in a different app at the same time?
Yes. You can connect an assistant in each of the six apps and mix Claude and ChatGPT. Two in the same app, no: they would get in each other’s way.
Does it work with Claude and with ChatGPT?
Both. With Claude desktop and with ChatGPT through Codex, the assistant inside its desktop app, not ChatGPT in the browser. You use your own subscription.
What do I need to use it in Premiere Pro?
Premiere Pro 25.6 or later, on macOS 11 or later or Windows 10 or later, and Claude or ChatGPT desktop with your subscription. The installer puts the panel in its app and adds Sekondo to your assistant: there are no commands to type.
You create.
Sekondo does the rest.
